The transportation of cables is made easier with the CD3 Steel Cable Drum.
Boasting a 230mm diameter drum core, this drum incorporates three cable supports, two connector clips and an integral winding knob. It features a carrying handle at the top of the frame to allow for easy handling and a spring-loaded catch. This model's winding handle is a separate unit that can rotate 180 degrees to enable compact storage. In-transit drum rotation is prevented thanks to a chained, drum-locating pin, with the ability to stack the product three high for maximum space saving.
In addition to its larger width (300m), what differentiates the CD3 from the CD2 is the inclusion of a set of four castors (2 braked, 2 unbraked) on threaded M10 steel studs. These can be mounted to the base of the drum frame and secured in place with M10 nuts, which will be supplied as standard. Each castor is 80mm high, has 100kg of load capacity can be turned 360 degrees.
Complete with a black nylon dipped finish, the product is suitable for cables with a minimum bend radius of 115mm or more and features a 450mm flange.
