The 25 way D-Subminiature socket is suitable for military, computer interfacing, industrial or commercial applications, etc. The solder lugs on the shell provide good cable-to-equipment grounding connection, and pre-drilled 3.05mm diameter holes on either side of the flanges enable easy panel mounting.
The connector contains two parallel rows of sockets, and the D-shaped shell provides mechanical support and ensures the correct orientation when mating. Manufactured in a bright tin-plated steel shell with grounding indents for EMI and RFI shielding, the solder cup terminations on the rear of this connector allow wires to connect easily.
