The 50 way D-Subminiature socket is a high-performance connector suitable for a wide range of applications ranging from computers, monitors and scanners to remote sensors and data loggers. Features a robust zinc-plated steel shell and solder cup terminations enable wires to be easily connected. The socket provides good EMI/RFI protection and has a current rating of 5 AMPS. Pre-drilled 3.05mm diameter holes on either side of the flanges enable easy panel mounting.
The D-sub contains three parallel sockets and is manufactured with a black glass-filled PBT black UL94V-0 insulator. The socket is Performance Level 1, which exceeds DIN Class 2, has an RS232 standard interface, and conforms to BS9523 F0010 and F0018.
