Popularly used for audio, D.C., control and communications, the 237A ten pair IDC disconnection module is a cost-effective and reliable way to install broadcast and data wiring and communications and is used with sub racks and mounting frames. It has various benefits over solder tag methods, including exceptional time and maintenance advantages.
Used to joint up to 10 pairs of cable with full disconnection facility, each of its circuits is normalled through a set of contacts that can be broken if needed. It can be used to terminate unscreened pairs of cables or screened audio cables where the screen either floats at the connection point or commonly terminates.
Disconnection contacts allow the use of over-voltage protection and ‘look both ways’ testing, and the IDC to screw terminal module allows connections to larger diameter conductors. Can be mounted on connection boxes and sub racks.
