Argosy 2x7 Dual Input MDU

To meet the demand for increased power over a standard 14 way MDU, Argosy offer the 2x7 MDU which delivers 20 amps capabilities per 1Ru. This is achieved with two 16 amp inputs via powerCON inlet connectors configured for switch rating to supply 10 amps to each of the two banks of seven IEC outputs.

This technique means that the 2 x 7 way version can supply 20% more output than conventional single switched units.

Each individually fused output is capable of 6 Amps maximum (subject to total maximum of 20Amps). Each output has a green LED indicator, signifying power is available. Fuse failure due, for example, to an overload condition, causes the indicator to be extinguished.

The units are provided with a sturdy yet compact cable-tie arrangement. This recognises the compact wiring required within the rack frame and that most MDU’s are situated at the top or bottom of the rack.
