Made of Class 5 plain annealed copper conductors encased in a PVC-insulated sheath, this general-purpose flexible AC mains cable is used where the risk of mechanical damage and stress is within normal/minimal range. Ideal for everyday use of small to medium-sized equipment in domestic, commercial, and light industrial environments.

Compatible appliances include vacuum cleaners, televisions, washing machines & dryers, power tools and refrigerators. Generally unsuitable for outdoor, wet use or heavy industrial applications.

Certified to BS6500, 4.0mm² to BS7919, CENELEC HD21.5, VDE 281, and copper conductors meet BS EN 60228:2005 (previously BS6360) standards.

Voltage and temperature ratings are 300-500 volts and 0°C to +60°C.

Cable conductors are insulated in standard colours of Green/Yellow, Blue or Brown PVC sheaths. Outer jacket is available in Black, Orange, Blue or White PVC. Other jacket types and colours available.

Core sizes range from 0.75mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 2.5mm. Sold in 100m drum reels.
