Argosy MDU12i Intelligent MDU

The MDU12i allows for comprehensive metering of the mains input while giving flexible control to the outputs. It is also the only MDU on the market that incorporates a hot swappable control board to allow for on-site hardware upgrades.

These units offer network connectivity to our range of Mains Distribution units, enabling secure remote monitoring and control of up to 32 units from one network address. The MDU allows for comprehensive metering of the mains in-put while giving flexible control to the outputs. A sequence and delay is fully programmable while power shedding allows controlled loss of non-critical equipment upon power failure with a UPS.

On board metering monitors the mains input to ensure continuous supply, with SNMP traps and alarms available via GPIO/email to alert if the input goes out of spec. All functions are available through the secure webpage interface.

The control and communication card along with PSU can be easily removed via a removable front panel cover. With the unit utilising latching relays, the control card can be safely removed for servicing or upgrade allowing the unit to operate with no loss of power to the outputs. When a new card is inserted the unit will pick up the current status of the outputs and boot up without any loss of power.

With the addition of latching relays this MDU has a very low energy consumption. Along with a substantial copper bussbar arrangement for distribution, this allows the unit to run very cool, helping to obtain a desired PUE.
