The Canare 32MD-ST 1U 32 Normaled VIdeo Patch Panel is a self-normalling, mid-size, ‘mini-WECo’ style video jackfield that passes uncompressed, 1080p HDTV video up to 3Gb/s (SMPTE 424M). It is compatible with Serial Digital Video ((3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI)) and NTSC Analogue. It is packed with 32 MDVJ-STW 75ohm dual video jacks, making it suitable for studios, OB vans, and broadband telecom environments.
Used to quickly change the path of select signals without the need for dedicated switching equipment, its compact design fits 32 channels into 1U, making them ideal for systems integrating high-density routers. With a frequency ranging from DC to 3.0 GHz and a return loss greater than 10 dB, the nickel-plated, aluminium alloy jack modules and unique sealed rotary switch make this panel especially useful in trucks and flight-case systems where weight and dust contamination are serious considerations.
This patch bay comes with beryllium copper and gold-plated centre contacts, housed in a 1RU and incorporating Canare’s proprietary rotary switch. The staggered rear BNC connectors accept industry-standard BNC HD cable plugs. The panel is easily maintained with standard or Canare's Slim BNC crimp plug.
