SMPTE Easy Checker is a portable, handheld set of two devices for testing both metallic and fibre optic connections. Metallic check can detect no connection, misconnection and short cut of wires. Optical check can detect no connection, misconnection and measures the Optical Loss of both optical fibers.

Units are powered by an internal Lithium battery charged by a standard 5V on USB – C type. SMPTE Easy Checker consist of the Main and Remote unit.
