The high-performance 15 way D-Subminiature socket is designed for the computer and datacoms industry. It features a sturdy zinc-plated steel shell with solder cup terminations that enable the easy connection of wires. The pre-drilled 3.05mm diameter holes on either side of the flanges allow for easy panel mounting. The rear pins are machined to a high quality.
The 15 way D-sub connector is a D-shaped shell that provides mechanical support and ensures the correct orientation when mating. Made with PBT and glass-fibre reinforced insulation, it contains two parallel rows of sockets.
Suitable for I/O (input/output) interconnections in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, the EMI/RFI shielded socket has an RS232 standard interface and conforms to BS9523 F0010 and F0018.
