The 25 way D-Subminiature plug is a high-performance connector suitable for various applications from PC interfacing and retro computing to model railways. Featuring a sturdy metal body and solder cup terminations that enable easy connection of wires, the dimpled plug offers good grounding and continuity. Pre-drilled 3.05mm diameter holes on either side of the flanges enable easy panel mounting.
The connector contains two parallel rows of Class 3 gold-plated stamped and formed contacts in a D-shaped shell. This provides mechanical support and ensures the correct orientation is used when mating. Manufactured with a black glass-filled PBT UL94V-0 insulator, it accommodates 20, 22, and 24 AWG wire sizes. Current rating is size 20, with 5 amps contacts.
Suitable for military, aerospace, industrial, medical, telecom and computer applications.
