The 37 way D-Subminiature plug is a high-performance connector suitable for various applications for computers and computer peripherals. Featuring a sturdy metal body and solder cup terminations that enable easy connection of wires, the dimpled plug offers good grounding and continuity. Pre-drilled 3.05mm diameter holes on either side of the flanges enable easy panel mounting.
The male connector contains two parallel rows of gold-plated stamped and formed contacts in a metal shell. This provides mechanical support and ensures the correct orientation is used when mating. Manufactured with a black glass-filled PBT black UL94V-0 insulator, it accepts wire sizes 20, 22, and 24 AWG. Current rating is size 20, with 5 amps contacts.
