The XX series XLR connectors are the next generation of the worldwide accepted standard of XLR cable connectors, and successor of the X series. They offer several new features, including improving contact integrity as well cable strain relief, thus making them easier to assemble and more reliable.

The Neutrik BXX-1 is brown, but other colour variants are available.
