Argosy SMPTE Hyperflex PUR MTR

Argosy Hyperflex cable is an innovative new design of SMPTE camera cables for HD and Ultra HD. An incredibly flexible cable, its construction makes it highly robust, guaranteeing a long and reliable working life.

Used in professional video productions, SMPTE camera cables carry video signals, power, tally, and talkback in one cable. They also endure heavy treatment, being pulled long distances on outside broadcasts or subject to constant flexing, bending and crushing on studio floors. This subjects the cables and connections to a relatively short life span.

The new Hyperflex cable solves this problem by encasing its fibres and copper in a custom-developed polyurethane rubberised compound outer jacket. This gives excellent resilient properties and makes the cable damage resistant, making it more efficient than previous cables where voltage leaks from damaged copper conductors resulted in the CCU failing to connect to the camera.

Available in custom lengths, including Hyperflex accessories such as compact splice trays for outside broadcast trucks and wall boxes.
