Krone 237B is an insulation-displacement connector used in telecommunications and broadcast systems, where krone wiring is used for audio interconnections and associated control systems.
Unlike 66- and 110-style IDC punch blocks, Krone is easily distinguished from other connectors by the arrangement of its contact slots, which is at a 45-degree angle to the wire, and its contacts can be used with stranded conductors.
It has termination strips without disconnection contacts, and are fully compatible with industry-standard backmount frames, designation strips, insertion tools, connection boxes, and other accessories. Its high specification silver-plated contacts maintain electrical performance even after many insertions. Uses industry-standard LSA+ type contacts and is UK OFTEL approved.
